Getting ready for back to school time or Paris in August
When a blog friend puts you on the move.
I was having a relaxing time at home, and when I was not lying in the sun in my garden, I was following Karen Kingston's advice and organizing the house. I had already taken a whole bootfull of junk to Goodwill. My house was starting to feel lighter and so was I.
Then I read Dominique's blog post, Madame La Ligne 13, in which she was just telling us about her trip to the shopping mall So Ouest in Paris. It was interesting to the point that even her readers who were at the beach, whether they live there or were there on holidays, were absolutely thrilled by the idea and dreamed of going to Paris.
I left my deck chair and decided to spend a day in Paris. It was pure happiness. Paris on a Tuesday morning right before the 15th of August is an experience I recommand. I had the bus and the whole shopping mall to myself, or nearly, and as good things often come in twos, where I had to change buses there was a Monoprix where I found this tea towel. Because when you read Karen Kingston, you throw away your old and damaged tea towels and get new ones.

At So Ouest, Marks & Sparks, Muji and Hema are neighbours, which is a very good thing as I wanted to go to those three shops.
Luckily, at Hema they still had the numbered paperclips I had seen on Dominique's blog and which had motivated me to go. I also found pencils for my paper craft.
I also happened to find this postcard holder which is going to be very convenient above my desk. In a clothes shop, I found this huge scarf to warm myself up when autumn comes and it gets colder.
I am ready for back to school time, my desk is well organized but don't worry, there's still plenty of time.
Now, let me go back to my deck chair because we still have a few beautiful summer days before everybody goes back to school or work
